Pinnacle Asset Advisors is led by Rick Wheat, a seasoned housing operations executive with 40+ years of experience across multifamily real estate, construction, finance, and supportive housing programs.
He has recently assisted in direct oversight of a multifamily portfolio with a value exceeding $580 million, encompassing (47) properties and 4,751 units across (10) states, while managing complex operational, compliance, and capital improvement initiatives.
Rick’s background allows him to evaluate assets holistically – balancing physical condition, financial performance, operational efficiency, and community impact.

With a deep commitment to housing America’s most vulnerable populations, Rick has become one of the nation’s leading authorities on the HUD VASH program, a collaborative initiative between the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
